Amazing level of service - very frequent! This is now NJ Transit's 186 and while the routing itself hasn't changed much, the service level sure has... a fraction of what is was here.
Yes, service over the bridge has been declining for years on just about all routes, including the 86/186 while service to the port authority has been increasing dramatically at the same time. Just compare today's NJT 167 to what it was in the 1950s.
